Just imagine all the sensory input your baby would get from this DIY Fabric Sensory Ball! Each type of material has been carefully chosen based on their colour and texture, developing four of the five senses at the same time: the sight with its vibrant colours, the touch with the different textures, the hearing with the bell (see the extra items), and I’m pretty sure that each section is going to be tasted as well! While your little one slowly holds it and examines it, their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skill are all get stimulated.

It’s one of those sensory materials especially designed for babies that ‘grows’ with your little one, first it serves to teach how to grab and hold, later as an incentive to roll and to crawl, finally to practice catch and throw.

This Fabric Sensory Ball kit contains:

– a variety of eight types of fabric in different textures (23cmx23cm/9″x9″ squares) – currently available fabric types are always on the last photo, colours may slightly differ to that of the photo.)
– a template for the half circles (the ball will have a 16cm/6.3 diameter)
– a detailed, printable instruction guide
– 60g of filling (choice of polyester or 100% natural wool)
The Instruction Guide is in a printable, digital format and has detailed instructions on how to assemble the Ball.

You have the option to add additional items to sew into the ball (third photo): two types of ribbon (12 cm/4.7″ each), a small wooden ring (5.5cm diameter, 0.2″ thick), a silver string for hanging and a silver bell (2cm/0.8″).
