DIY Montessori Tactile Set – Basic
The great thing about tactile mobiles is that they are so simple! At the same time, they are incredibly effective when it comes to visual development, baby body control , fine motor skills and gross motor skills.
I know, it’s hard to believe!
One single ring or a bell hung above a 2.5 – 3-month-old gives your little one a lot of work! Muscles strengthen, neurons connect in the brain, body control is practiced… it’s literally a whole-body workout!
And we haven’t even mentioned the mental development! Through using the DIY Montessori Tactile Mobile set, your baby gains an understanding that s/he can have an effect and control the environment. S/he’ll learn about the relationship between cause and effect, develop hand-eye coordination and strengthen core muscles, while building focus and concentration. All you have to do is to sit back and listen to the soft sound of the bell, followed by cute, happy baby sounds.
This DIY Tactile Set includes:
– one wooden ring made of raw wood (choice of 5.5cm/2″ or 7cm/2.5″, this can be used as a teething toy later)
– a large bell with a gentle sound (so it doesn’t frighten the baby, 3.5cm/1.1″)
– a tiny bell (0.8cm/3/8″)
– satin ribbon, cream colour (50/100/150cm)
– elastic ribbon, white (50/100/150cm)
– transparent elastic cord (10cm/3.8″)
– access to the tutorial video
The instruction guide is in a printable, digital format and has instructions on how to assemble the baby mobiles, available in English and Hungarian.
