From about 6 months old, babies use all their senses to explore objects. They learn as much about their environment as possible. This sensory set aims to develop the tactile (crochet ball, Montessori Grasping Beads), the taste (teething ring) and auditory senses (Montessori Bell Rattle) and each of these objects ensures long, free, open-ended play.

Those babies who use their hands a lot to explore a variety of items have a greater understanding of their place in their surroundings. This means that they feel more confident in themselves and have greater motivation to discover. After being able to grab, hold and let go, babies will explore other movements as well, such as passing them from one hand to another, holding them with two hands or dropping them and observing them roll.

How to use them? Arrange them in a nice, natural, low-sided basket, give them to your baby, step back and delight in watching your little one playing independently for ages. Don’t forget to bring a nice cup of tea!

The ring is made of natural, untreated wood and have a 7cm diameter. This is the perfect size to be able to grab onto it and hold it while happily mouthing on the rim..
