These DIY baby mobiles ensure smooth and continuous development, starting with the visuals (the Munari, the Octahedron, the Gobbi in a choice of painted or crocheted, and the Dancers mobiles) then, adapting to your baby’s interest and development, continues with the tactile baby mobiles (Bell on a Ribbon, Ring on a Ribbon, Grasping Beads). Babies simply don’t need any other toys in their first half a year! All they need is food, somebody to take care of their physical needs and lots of love. Oh, and Montessori baby mobiles!

The Visual Mobile Set includes:
- The Munari baby mobile: for the smallest of babies who are only able to see strongly contrasting 2D objects
- The Octahedron mobile introduces 3D objects and the primary colours.
- The Gobbi infant mobile assists in distinguishing shades, therefore developing visual discrimination skills (choice of blue or green).
- The Dancers mobile encourages dynamic visual focus and depth perception.

The beads are all made of natural, untreated wood and are not all perfectly round. (Colours are random and may differ slightly to that of the photos.)

So friendly! I ordered one of the mobile sets after realizing I really would end up paying much more if I were to order things I needed form arts & crafts stores and would end up with loads of unnecessary material. Edit was very kind, answered all my questions, shipped the order within a few days (one of them was a public holiday) and the order arrived within the week. The instructions she provided along with the mobiles are easy to understand and also give you a bit of background information on how and why to use the Montessori mobiles. 😀
