Crochet teething ring made with recycled yard
This lovely crochet teething ring is both a sensory baby toy AND a teether toy at the same time. How does that work?
First, when your baby starts to hold objects, around 3 months, your baby can use this to widen their tactile experience. The two sides of the ring offer two different surfaces to explore, one is smooth, one is rough. One is hard, one is softer. By manipulating the ring, your baby’s hand control and fine motor skills will progress as well as their sensory skills. Discovering the opposite sides of the teething ring will keep your little one entertained for ages!
Then, when the first teeth start to grow, between 4-7 months, the natural wooden ring serves as a teether toy. Those tender gums get a little massage during those painful times when a new tooth is about to erupt, therefore easing the discomfort they feel. Later, it would also be a great addition to any sensory toy set and would make the perfect for treasure baskets.

What you get when you order a Crochet Teething Ring
The rings are made of natural, untreated wood and have a 7cm diameter. This is the perfect size to be able to grab onto it and hold it while happily mouthing on the rim.
The yarn used to cover half of the ring is recycled, therefore each teether is unique and there won’t be any more made.
* Please remember that these rings are lovingly crocheted by hand, and as with all handmade items, there will be irregularities and small imperfections that will not be encountered in mass produced merchandise. Colour may differ slightly to that of the photos.
