They actually have to learn that things around them are not only permanent but actually stay exactly the same. This simple kit allows them to understand this concept by actually doing a concrete action that they can independently repeat over and over, until they are confident with the result. I have included two different types of balls to extend the learning and enrich the experience: a wooden ball which is heavy(er) and smooth and a crocheted ball which is light and textured (you can choose the colour).
This is a huge milestone in cognitive learning! All you have to do is cut a couple of shapes out, assemble the box and place it on a tray with the balls.
